Where is the house located?

Les Cabannes is accessible by train (Toulouse-Latour de Carol line) and by road (N20). It is 10 minutes from Tarascon sur Ariège, 20 minutes from Ax les Thermes, 30 minutes from Foix, 1 hour from Toulouse and 1? hours from Carcassonne.

The village

Unlike some tourist sites that are deserted out of season, Les Cabannes remains a lively village all year round.

Shops:

In Les Cabannes, you'll find all the basic shops you need, as well as 2 ski rentals. There are also supermarkets in Savignac les Ormeaux, Tarascon and Foix, and hypermarkets in Pamiers. Every Sunday, the local produce market takes place in the village square.

Relax:

You can relax by staying in the village itself: open-air swimming pool, mini-golf, tennis court, "miraculous fishing" in the lakes of the fish farm... There's no shortage of activities! Good news for young and old alike: a large swimming pool with waterslide is just 5 minutes from Les Cabannes, in Aston.

Events:

The local festival in Les Cabannes takes place on the third weekend in July, not forgetting all the festivals in the surrounding towns and villages, which take place throughout July, August and the 1st weekend in September. The traditional "apple festival" is an event not to be missed! It takes place every year in October. The "feu de Saint Jean" is organised towards the end of June.
